God created us to have everything we will ever need in life. In the story of creation, God called everything there is into existence out of obscurity. Nothing in existence was until God determined what it was going to be. You maybe saying to yourself, “Well He’s God, what will keep Him from establishing what He says?” Well, since God was able to create all there is, and also gave us that same ability by “creating us in His own image” then where is the hang-up? It’s simple; sin. Sin separates us from God, by making us either feel inadequate, unworthy, or just too prideful to rely on a God that created us to be His Children.

God made human beings out the same Earth that contains every vitamin, mineral, and natural resource to sustain mankind. That same soil, when unearthed, harnesses diamonds, rubies, emeralds, gold, silver, copper, tin, etc, and etc. Not only does it harness, from it springs every fruit, vegetable, and herb that is reliable for our consumption. Now that’s plentiful, because God is plentiful. Just as we have an abundance of people, there is an abundance of potential in you also. Our job is to get to know the God who created us, and everything there is, so we can have that same production happening in our lives!

Just think, resources are mined daily. Gold, oil, and every other resource is being either drilled or mined at this very moment. Resources are producing income and prosperity for some affluent individual. This doesn’t mean you go dig up your backyard, and in 15 minutes you’re Jed Clampet. That’s not the point. The point is, is that God is waiting for you to discover those treasures He placed and ordained for your life. Just get to know Him, and you’ll find out you have everything you need. – 2 Corinthians 4:7
