Pastor Roland Slater is Lead Pastor of Westminster Church. Roland has led churches in Texas, New Jersey, Illinois and Kansas before coming to Westminster. Roland enjoys reading, yardwork, his dog Bama, and a good joke. Roland is passion about his faith and desires to see others to come to know Jesus in a personal way. Roland’s favorite Bible verse is Romans 5:8, “God demonstrated His love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. He says, “This verse reminds us that there is no one on the planet that loves us more than God. So much so, that Christ would die for me so that I might live.”
Mitch is responsible for worship at Westminster Church. He oversees the music, the sound and tech leaders, small groups and Celebrate Recovery. He is currently attending Grand Canyon University where he is working on his Master of Divinity. He works full time as a counselor, doing admissions at Meadowlake Hospital. He lives with his children, Harrison and McCartney, and will be married to Dedra on 10/15/21.
Chelsea is the Children's Director for Westminster. Chelsea and her husband live on a farm outside of Enid with four kids, four dogs, one cat, and a bunch of goats. Jordan, her oldest and only boy is outnumbered by three little sisters Addalee, Emmy, and Hadley. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, doing crafts, listening to audiobooks, doing puzzles, gardening, fishing, camping, and supporting her kids’ sports and 4-H activities. She has worked in church nurseries, public schools and in daycares since she was a teenager. Chelsea says, "God led me towards the opportunity of becoming the Children’s Director; I am excited to see what the future holds as we grow together!"
Gabriella Lewis is the Administrative Assistant for Westminster. She is married to Andrew (Westminster’s drummer) and they have a 1 year old son named Levi. She enjoys swimming, playing instruments, and being organized. She has two big dogs, a Pitbull and a Rhodesian Ridgeback. She lived in Italy for 6 years as a teen and did a lot of traveling. Her favorite verses are James 3:17-18, “But the wisdom that comes from Heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.”
